Scholarships and loans
There are a number of ways you can finance your study alongside living expenses whilst as Cass. There are a number of different options available to you including loans for tuition fees and for living costs, as well as grants and bursaries.
The Lord Mayor of London Scholarships for Academic Excellence
At City, University of London we believe that exceptional academic performance should be recognised and rewarded. City is offering a Scholarship of £2,000 for your first year of study to UK and EU Cass Business School undergraduate students achieving exceptional grades at 'A' level, International Baccalaureate or other equivalent qualifications starting an undergraduate course at City in September 2018.
Duration:your first year of study
- Students from the United Kingdom (UK) and European Union (EU)
- Students in their first year of undergraduate study in 2018/19
- AAA or above at 'A' level (or equivalent*)
- A*AA for BSc Actuarial Science
- Make City's undergraduate offer your firm choice
Registration and deadline:
If you are eligible to apply for the scholarship you will receive an email from our Admissions Team, detailing the terms and conditions and how to apply.

Payment will be made in February 2019.
Cass Business School International Scholarship
Cass Business School is offering a scholarship of £2000 towards Year 1 tuition fee for overseas students starting a Cass undergraduate course in September 2018, subject to confirmation of your eligibility.
The scholarship is for students who achieve exceptional grades in the international qualifications accepted by Cass and exceeding the requirements of their offer.
Cass International students with A Level or International Baccalaureate can apply for the President’s International Scholarship. Cass EU students have the opportunity to apply for the Global Leaders Scholarship.
To qualify for the Cass International Scholarship in 2018/19, you must:
- be an overseas student (i.e. from outside the UK/EU and paying the overseas fee);
- be applying for your first year of undergraduate study in 2018/19;
- make City’s (Cass) undergraduate offer your firm choice
- exceed your offer requirements
Selection and further details

The scholarship is worth £2000 for Year 1 only.
Registration and deadline
All Cass offer holders will be sent an email invitation days after being given an offer by Cass. Once you receive your email invitation you will need to apply to qualify for the scholarship. Registration must be submitted by 31 July 2018 in order to be considered for the scholarship. Please note that if you have not registered for the scholarship by 31 July 2018 we will not be able to consider your application.
By applying for this scholarship you confirm that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions and eligibility criteria.
Only successful recipients of the scholarship will be notified of the results of their application by 31 October 2018.
If your application is successful, the £2000 will be subtracted from your January 2019 tuition fee instalment.
City is offering scholarships of £2000 each year towards tuition fees to international students starting an undergraduate course at City in September 2018.
The scholarship is aimed at students who achieve exceptional grades at 'A' level or International Baccalaureate.

Global Leaders Scholarship
City is offering a minimum of 50 scholarships of £1000 to outstanding International and EU students starting an undergraduate course at City in September 2018 who are taking further education qualifications in their home education systems.

Future Finance Loans
Future Finance offers students loans of between £2,500 and £40,000 to help cover tuition fees and living expenses. All students and courses are considered. All loans are subject to credit checks and approval for further details please visit the Future Finance website.
ICAEW Foundation – 2018 Changing Futures Bursary programme
The ICAEW Foundation is offering bursaries to talented and aspiring students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds wishing to study for an accountancy degree.
Award: £4000 per year
Duration: 3 years (subject to satisfactory continuation each year)
- available to new students on the BSc Accounting & Finance course starting in September 2018
- Good academic record
- Financial background – from a household income between £ 20,000 – 25,000 per annum
