Scholarships and loans

There are a number of ways you can finance your study alongside living expenses whilst as Cass. There are a number of different options available to you including loans for tuition fees and for living costs, as well as grants and bursaries.

Scholarships

The Lord Mayor of London Scholarships for Academic Excellence

At City, University of London we believe that exceptional academic performance should be recognised and rewarded. City offered a Scholarship of £2,000 for your first year of study to UK and EU Cass Business School undergraduate students achieving exceptional grades at 'A' level, International Baccalaureate or other equivalent qualifications starting an undergraduate course at City in September 2019.

Award: £2,000

Duration:your first year of study

Eligibility:

  • Students from the United Kingdom (UK) and European Union (EU)
  • Students in their first year of undergraduate study
  • AAA or above at 'A' level (or equivalent*)
  • A*AA for BSc Actuarial Science
  • Make City's undergraduate offer your firm choice

Cass Business School International Scholarship

Cass Business School is offering the Cass Business School International Scholarship of £2000 towards Year 1 tuition fees for international students paying overseas fees and starting a Cass undergraduate course in September 2019, subject to confirmation of your eligibility.

The scholarship is for students who achieve exceptional grades in the international qualifications accepted by Cass and who exceed the requirements of their offer.

Cass International students with A Level or International Baccalaureate are not eligible for the Cass Business School International Scholarship, but can apply for the President’s International Scholarship.

Cass EU students are not eligible for the Cass Business School International Scholarship, but have the opportunity to apply for the Global Leaders Scholarship.

Selection and further details

Awards will be made on the basis of academic merit and your final grades. To find out the specific criteria for your qualification, please contact Cass Admissions team at cassug@city.ac.uk

The scholarship is worth £2000 for Year 1 only.

Registration and deadline

All Cass offer holders will be sent an email invitation days after being given an offer by Cass. Once you receive your email invitation you will need to apply to qualify for the scholarship. Registration must be submitted by 30 September 2019 in order to be considered for the scholarship. Please note that if you have not registered for the scholarship by 30 September 2019 we will not be able to consider your application.

By applying for this scholarship you confirm that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions and eligibility criteria.

Only successful recipients of the scholarship will be notified of the results of their application and this notification will take place by 31 October 2019.

President's Scholarship

City offered scholarships of £2000 each year towards tuition fees to international students starting an undergraduate course at City in September 2019.

The scholarship is aimed at students who achieve exceptional grades at 'A' level or International Baccalaureate.

Global Leaders Scholarship

City are offering a scholarship of £1000 to outstanding International and EU students starting an undergraduate course at City in September 2019 who are taking further education qualifications in their home education systems.

Loans

Future Finance Loans

Future Finance offers students loans of between £2,000 and £40,000 to help cover tuition fees and living expenses. All students and courses are considered. All loans are subject to credit checks and approval for further details please visit the Future Finance website.

Bursaries

ICAEW Foundation – 2018 Changing Futures Bursary programme

2018 information:

The ICAEW Foundation offered  bursaries to talented and aspiring students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds wishing to study for an accountancy degree.

Award: £4000 per year

Duration: 3 years (subject to satisfactory continuation each year)
