Scholarships and loans

There are a number of ways you can finance your study alongside living expenses whilst as Cass. There are a number of different options available to you including loans for tuition fees and for living costs, as well as grants and bursaries.

Scholarships

Cass Business School International Scholarship

Cass Business School is offering the Cass Business School International Scholarship of £2000 towards Year 1 tuition fees for international students paying overseas fees and starting a Cass undergraduate course in September 2020, subject to confirmation of your eligibility.

The scholarship is for students who achieve outstanding grades in the international qualifications accepted by Cass and who exceed the requirements of their offer.

Cass International students with A Level or International Baccalaureate are not eligible for the Cass Business School International Scholarship, but can apply for the President’s International Scholarship.

Cass EU students are not eligible for the Cass Business School International Scholarship, but have the opportunity to apply for the Global Leaders Scholarship.

Eligibility

To qualify for the Cass International Scholarship in 2020/21, you must:

  • be an overseas students (i.e. from outside the UK/EU and paying the overseas fee)
  • be applying for your first year of undergraduate study starting in 2020/21;
  • make City’s (Cass) undergraduate offer your firm choice
  • exceed your offer requirements.

Selection and further details

The scholarship is worth £2000 for Year 1 only.

Registration and deadline

All Cass offer holders will be sent an email invitation days after receiving an offer. Once you receive your email invitation you will need to apply to qualify for the scholarship. Registration must be submitted by 30 September 2020 in order to be considered for the scholarship.Please note that if you have not registered for the scholarship by 30 September 2020 we will not be able to consideryour application.

By applying for this scholarship you confirm that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions and eligibility criteria.

All applicants will be notified of the results of their application once a decision is made by November 2020.

Payment

If your application is successful, the £2000 will be subtracted from your January 2021 tuition fee instalment.

President's International Scholarship

City offered scholarships of £2000 each year towards tuition fees to international students starting an undergraduate course at City in September 2020.

The scholarship is aimed at students who achieve exceptional grades at 'A' level or International Baccalaureate.

Selection and further details

Eligible applicants will be contacted directly with an invitation to register for the scholarship. If you believe you should have received an email or have deleted or lost your email invitation, please contact the Admissions team, by completing the form, and choosing Scholarships in the enquiry category.

Registrations for 2020 entry must be submitted by 30th September 2020 in order to be considered for the scholarship. Please note that if you have not registered for the scholarship by 30th September 2020 we will not be able to consider your application. The Lord Mayor of London Scholarships for Academic Excellence

If you are starting an undergraduate course at City in September 2020 a scholarship of £2,000 is available for your first year, subject to confirmation of your qualifications being eligible.

Selection and further details

To qualify for The Lord Mayor of London Scholarship for Academic Excellence in 2020/21, you must:

  • be a student from the UK or European Union (EU);
  • be in your first year of undergraduate study in 2020/21;
  • achieve 'A' Level grades of AAA (or equivalents in other eligible qualifications);
  • make City your Firm choice (CF or UF) or be placed through Clearing.

Global Leaders Scholarship

City are offering a scholarship of £1000 to outstanding International and EU students starting an undergraduate course at City in September 2020 who are taking further education qualifications in their home education systems.

Selection and further details

To be eligible for a Global Leaders Scholarship, you must:

  • Be an EU or international student with your home country's equivalent to 'A' levels (for example French Baccalaureate, Italian Maturita or US High School Diploma)
  • International students undertaking a recognised international foundation programme
  • Be applying for your first year of undergraduate study in 2020/21
  • Achieve the grades set out in the terms of your offer from City

Please note: This scholarship is not eligible to International (non UK/EU) students with overseas fee status from Cass Business School.

Loans

Future Finance Loans

Future Finance offers students loans of between £2,000 and £40,000 to help cover tuition fees and living expenses. All students and courses are considered. All loans are subject to credit checks and approval for further details please visit the Future Finance website.
