Social and professional networking

Outside of the MBA curriculum, there are a number of opportunities throughout the year to increase your knowledge of current business issues and network with leading figures in business, government and academia. Although it is not compulsory to attend events, you are encouraged to make the most of these opportunities, which can contribute towards your learning, skills and career development.

Industry Events

With links to the financial district and the entrepreneurship scene, Bayes Business School holds regular events on campus on current topics with leading professionals. Not only are these great events to keep up to date with trends but an opportunity to expand your network further by meeting industry professionals. Careers Beers

Held twice a year in the City, the Careers & Professional Development and Alumni teams host a fantastic networking event for approximately 200 current Full-time, Executive and Modular Executive MBA students, as well as alumni. It is a great opportunity to build new relationships across programmes and meet those that work in diverse careers across London – networking after all is the number one way our students find new roles. We hear many stories from our students about how the people they meet at this event have helped them in their future career.

Global Women’s Leadership Events

As part of the development of the Global Women’s Leadership Programme, the board decided to host events with inspiring speakers to equip and empower women. These events are typically organised by the Global Women’s Scholars as part of their programme. Previous events have been panels on female entrepreneurship, respect within the workplace and fireside chats with senior female leaders. Find out more about the events that they hold.
