Business and Management UG – become a mentee
Become a mentee
We have an opportunity for 1st year students studying Business or Management to work with one of our 2nd year mentors and get some help with a challenge you’re facing.
Starting University can be really overwhelming, especially if London (or even the UK!) is a brand new place to you. Perhaps you’re wondering how to settle in to a new city, make friends and get stuck in to your degree course. How do you make sure you balance everything? Working with a mentor can help you with these things and lots more.
All our mentors are trained and supported by mentoring experts. They’re close in age to you and will have experienced similar things to you just a year or two before; they’ll be really familiar with what it’s like to be a first year at Cass.
Examples of what the mentors could help you with:
- Feeling settled
- Focusing on University work and specific modules
- Time management
Our mentors are available from Mid-November. We’d expect you to meet for 30 minutes to an hour, every two weeks, up until April.
If you have any questions or would like to work with a mentor please email email@example.com and we’ll be happy to see if we can help.
