Readers of BusinessBecause, the global business school network, were asked to submit a 300 word essay to answer the question: The future of the sharing economy- what else will we be ubering by 2050?

The judging panel, which included senior executives from Instagram, Wipro and JustPark, were ‘greatly impressed’ by George’s essay which was entitled Department Store Drone Club.

George wins:

  • 1:1 careers mentoring session with management consulting firm Bain & Company
  • $1000 cash prize
  • A copy of The Business of Sharing by Alex Stephany

He said: “I’m absolutely delighted to have won the BusinessBecause Global MBA Competition 2015 for my short essay on the future of the sharing economy.

“The question tied in nicely with content covered in the strategy module of my MBA taught by Dr Paolo Aversa.  I’m looking forward to spending the prize money on a wine tasting holiday to France, using AirBnB naturally!”

MBAs from over 100 different schools worldwide participated in the competition including Yale, R.H Smith and MIT in the United States, Sauder in Canada, Cranfield, Manchester, HEC Paris, IE and London Business School in Europe and AGSM and CEIBS in the Asia Pacific region.
