Cass Visiting Professor makes AMA top 50 authors
Visiting Professor Ko de Ruyter ranked in top 50 most productive authors
Professor Ko de Ruyter, visiting professor in the Faculty of Management, has been rated in the top 50 most productive authors in leading marketing journals by the American Marketing Association (AMA).
The AMA seeks to acknowledge the top individual and school contributors of research to their academic publications.
"It's good to be recognized for impact scores, it will be even better to be remembered for impact." said Professor de Ruyter. "My research published in these top AMA journals aims at making a difference, by providing guidance to companies on how to strike a responsible balance between people, planet and profit."
Cass Professor Vince Mitchell, said: "This is an excellent achievement as the American Marketing Association is the world's premier marketing association and their analysis recognises only world-class research."
This is not the first time Professor de Ruyter has been recognised internationally for his work.
Last year he won the Best Sustainable Marketing Paper Prize at the Australian & New Zealand Marketing Academy Conference (ANZMAC) 2014, for a paper co-written with Dr Tom van Laer, who recently joined Cass Business School, and PhD candidate Nadine Kiratli.
