Cass academics judge leading Marketing industry awards
Two Faculty of Management academics will be sitting in judgement of the marketing industry at two leading awards ceremonies.
Professor Ian Bruce CBE and Professor Vince Mitchell will be the only academic representatives on their respective judging panels at marketing award ceremonies taking place in April and June.
President of the Centre for Charity Effectiveness, Professor Bruce will be on the panel at the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Excellence Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel on 27 April.
Professor Bruce said: “These awards are important because they share deep understandings of fundamental and successful marketing approaches.”
Meanwhile, Professor of Consumer Marketing, Vince Mitchell is gearing up to judge the Best Business to Business Marketing category of the Marketing Society Excellence Awards at the Artillery Gardens on 4th June.
Professor Mitchell said: “Over the past three years of judging the best of UK marketing practice I've realised that, not only is it privilege to work with such amazingly talent judges, but also that it's a great learning experience on what companies are doing.
“Given how stiff the competition is from some of the world's best companies, winning a Marketing Society award is a big deal for both the marketing teams and the company.”
