Cass hosts career development event for Vietnamese students
Prospect VI helps Vietnamese students in the UK kick-start their careers
Cass Business School hosted over 100 Vietnamese students studying in the UK for a day of career development activities.
Vietnamese Professionals in the UK and the Vietnamese Student Association at City University London (VietSoc City) co-organised the Prospects VI event for the sixth year in a row.
The annual event aims to give Vietnamese students studying away from home the essential knowledge to help them get ahead in their careers in the UK.
It offers Vietnamese students valuable opportunities for mock interviews, career advice and CV feedback.
The day kicked off with a panel discussion where experienced professionals and recent successful graduates offered advice on standing out in the jobs market.
Panel members included an Actuarial Consultant for Towers Watson and a Senior Investment Analyst from Falcon Money Management.
There were also networking opportunities throughout the day, as Vietnamese experts working in banking, consultancy, finance and real estate talked to students
