'Carma' wins easyCar University Start-up Challenge
Cass MBA students awarded joint first place for innovative campaign
A team of Cass MBA students are the joint winners of the easyCar University Start-up Challenge.
The challenge saw budding entrepreneurs square up to competitors in the ultimate test of business skills. Using a host of creative marketing techniques, teams raced against each other to recruit new members for easyCar's new Car Club service. The competition was launched in November last year.
Cass students Anubhav Mathur, Aditi Nath, Amrit Juwaheer, Santosh Mayekar and Robert Morris made up the team 'Carma'. They were commended by judges for the 'tenacity and creativity' of their campaign.
Speaking to the victors, easyCar's CEO Richard Laugton said: "We were really impressed by the effort that your team put-in: everything from making viral videos, to circulating thousands of leaflets, to even approaching people in a cold, wet car park. We're grateful for your determination."
Team captain Anubhav Mathur said: "I would like to thank Cass for the help and support we received. We are delighted with this achievement."
