Cass academic wins best paper award
Dr Elena Novelli recognised
The prize is awarded by the Strascheg Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SIIE).
Along with her co-authors Professor Gautam Ahuja (University of Michigan) and Assistant Professor Curba Morris Lampert (Florida International University), Dr Novelli received the prize for the paper "The second face of appropriability: Generative appropriability and its determinants".
The paper was published in the Academy of Management Review.
The team was presented with the award, including a prize of €2,500, at EBS Universität and MikroFORUM, the high technology park in Wendelsheim, Germany.
The award honours outstanding research work on economics and business studies issues, which deal with innovation and technology management from a practice-relevant perspective.
"We have never before received so many entries from the international community, characterized at the same time by high academic quality and practical relevance", said a delighted Professor Florian Täube from the Strascheg Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at EBS Universität and Academic Director of the Best Paper Award during the award ceremony.
Dr Novelli commented: "I am delighted that we have received this wonderful recognition."
