Aston Martin's Markus Kramer visits Full Time MBA class
Global Marketing Director joins Cass MBAs for Q&A
Last week Aston Martin Global Marketing Director joined Cass MBA candidates for a Q&A session.
The surprise speaker answered student's questions on building brand equity and marketing's role in international expansion.
MBA core marketing student Paolo Modolo commented "The opportunity to interact with a world-class marketer has been one of the highlights of the MBA to date. It is quite rare to be able to hear first-hand the challenges that modern day marketers face and the strategies required to deliver enduring value. Markus' visit is the perfect illustration of theory and practice in harmony."
Fellow student Kamaldeep Panesar added "Being able to probe the decision-making process of a C-suite thought-leader brought the case to life. The next generation of leading marketers were able to test their critical analysis skills not only against facts stated on paper but also against the unstated assumptions of the real business environment. Markus allowed us to go beyond the case, bestowing the MBA students at Cass Business School with a competitive advantage in the field of luxury goods marketing".
To celebrate the company's centenary Cass Associate Dean for the MBA Programme Dr Sionade Robinson put together a teaching case file on Aston Martin from the perspective of Markus Kramer. The case file was used by the MBA core marketing students to evaluate how Aston Martin could optimize their brand.
