Cass Entrepreneurship Fund celebrates double award success

Cass start-ups acknowledged by Microsoft and the Association of MBA's

Congratulations to James Butler, founder of Cloud Business and Susan Cooper founder of Accutrainee, both businesses backed by the Cass Entrepreneurship Fund.

James Butler won the global Microsoft Cloud Partner of the Year Award in June. This Award was testament to the hard work and dedication of the team at Cloud Business, which is now a market leader in cloud services and software.

Susan was a finalist in the Association of MBA's (AMBA) MBA Entrepreneurial Venture Award last month. Accutrainee is a pioneer in the legal industry and the first non-law firm to be authorised by the Solicitor's Regulatory Authority.

Jane Reoch, Investment Director of the Cass Entrepreneurship Fund, said "We are delighted to celebrate James and Susan's success. They are both fantastic examples of entrepreneurs building new and exciting businesses."

James said: "The Award recognises the team's hard work in building an outstanding Cloud IT company. Of course it is our customers who have made it all possible and I would like to thank them for their commitment."

Susan: "We are delighted to have been shortlisted for AMBA's Entrepreneurial Venture Award 2012 and are grateful to the Cass Entrepreneurship Fund for all the support and guidance they have offered us at every step of the way as we go from strength to strength."

The Cass Entrepreneurship Fund is a £10 million venture capital fund, providing growth equity to start-up and early stage companies.

Established in 2010, The Fund has already financed a number of Cass entrepreneurs and also provides general support and incubation facilities.

The Fund has been established with the generous support of Peter Cullum CBE, one of Cass's most successful entrepreneurs and the Founder and Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of Towergate Insurance.
