Chirag Patel nominated for his entrepreneurial contribution in Bahrain
Cass alumnus, Chirag Patel, has been shortlisted for "Young Asian Entrepreneur of The Year" at the Summit of Excellence Asian Business Awards in Bahrain.
The corporate awards ceremony honours the Asian business owners, entrepreneurs and CEOs who have played a major role in Bahrain's development.
Chirag founded 'Patel Construction', a general contracting and construction company, after completing the BSc Business Studies (2007) and the MSc Management (2008) programmes at Cass.
The company, which is now in its fourth year, has completed six successful projects as well as renovation and maintenance works for the Bahrain Defence Hospital and Ministry of Interior.
Chirag said: "Studying at Cass Business School was an amazing experience and is the foundation for my success. The knowledge I have acquired during my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Cass have proved invaluable in establishing Patel Construction. The Professors were all truly inspirational! Now that I've been shortlisted into the final six out of 26 nominated candidates, I need one last push and Cass Business School's support to win!"
