Social media update
Cass official Facebook page gets a facelift.
Over the last five years, the growth in Facebook and Twitter users has seen both channels become key communication tools as businesses have realised the importance of engaging with key stakeholders in a more social way.
Cass's Facebook page has undergone extensive development this summer and people who 'like' our page will be able to take advantage of new applications including a discussion forum, an interactive map of London, highlighting favourite or interesting places near the School as well as exclusive discounts.
Our twitter feed @cassinthenews informs followers of any new offers, discussions and places added to these new applications via Facebook.
In addition, Facebook and Twitter fans can enjoy exclusive comment on the daily news from Cass experts, a first view of our weekly video podcast 'Cass Talks' and up to date news on academic and student achievements.
Cass has plans to increase engagement through social media platforms over the coming academic year, including using Twitter to encourage interaction at events using the hash tag # function, encouraging greater alumni and student networking through LinkedIn http://uk.linkedin.com/ and developing the extensive video reference library we already have on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/
Everyone can benefit from taking a look at Cass through the eyes of social media. Current and new students can connect and network with their peers, organise events through clubs and societies or just receive exclusive discounts!
Prospective students are able to interact with Cass by following chats on the new discussion forum, monitoring academic comments and opinion and asking questions of peers or staff.
