Cass named top UK business school in MBA rankings

First in the UK and fifth in the world in the FYMBA Rising Stars 2011 ranking

Cass Business School is today ranked number one in the UK and number five globally in the top 30 FYMBA Rising Stars Ranking 2011.

The ranking, compiled by, recognises business schools which have the potential to become the world's best ranked for their MBA programmes.

It celebrates business schools which provide MBAs that are affordable in the short term, while maintaining academic value in the future. The ranking consists of the top thirty business schools which made significant steps in recent years, suggesting they will out perform their peers in the future.

The ranking is based on noteworthy improvements, current data and plans for the future. Some data which is used by established rankings is included but assessment variables also include forum activity, internet activity among MBA students, considerations of political climate, business schools' long term investments and their strategic choices. Therefore, considerations such as campus and amount of students are less important than improvements and developments which enhance the student experience."
