Cass alumna is Deutsche Bank star
Former MBA student recognised for 'significant contribution'
MBA alumna Meltem Evrensel has been awarded a Deutsche Bank Star Award less than two years after joining the global bank. Star Awards are an internal recognition programme and are given to employees who have 'shown a significant contribution, above and beyond the scope of day to day responsibilities.'
Meltem, a Lean Consultant, was recognised for her leadership and management skills on a global project for Deutsche Bank. She co-ordinated a team of ten people across four countries on the project which 'rapidly delivered results that far exceeded expectations.'
Meltem said, "It is fantastic to receive this recognition so early in my career at Deutsche Bank. The MBA at Cass developed my leadership skills and I am pleased to put them into practice in my career. Deutsche Bank is a great place to work and gives me opportunities to take responsibilities for major projects."
Course director for the full time MBA at Cass, Dr Sionade Robinson said, "Meltem was a marvellous contributor to our MBA while a student at Cass in every aspect of the course. We are truly delighted to hear of a further success."
Meltem began work with Deutsche bank as part of a lean six sigma internship organised through the careers centre at Cass. Approximately twelve MBA students from Cass have gained permanent opportunities through the internship programme. Deutsche Bank are currently looking for interns to start in February.
