Rational law making in a post-crisis world

An alternative approach for universal regulation

Wednesday, 3 February, 2010

Dr Chizu Nakajima, Director of the Centre for Financial Regulation and Crime at Cass argues that history has shown knee-jerk legislation, in the wake of a financial crisis, doesn’t work and suggests a 'soft law' approach to universal regulation.

Cass Talks is a series of free video and audio interviews uploaded weekly each Wednesday, presented by BBC Business Reporter and current Cass EMBA student, Alex Ritson.

The interviews are an opportunity to hear Cass faculty give their perspective on current business and finance news stories, global issues affecting the business world and new research coming out of the School.
