Cass MBA highlights of 2019

It’s been another successful year for the MBA Programmes at Cass Business School. We look back at some of the year’s best moments.

MBA students participate in UAE study tour

In February, MBA students at the Cass Dubai campus participated in the 10th UAE study tour. This four-day elective is based on structured company visits and cultural encounters which give students new insights into the business culture of the Middle East.

MBA students explore European politics and Brexit in Brussels

Ahead of a crucial vote on the then Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit deal, full-time MBA students from Cass Business School were given the opportunity to go behind the scenes at the European political capital with an immersive weekend study tour.

Though a combination of seminars, workshops and a tour of the European Parliament, students were able to discover more about EU institutions including the Parliament, European Council, European Commission and the European Central Bank.

MBA London Symposium welcomes renowned industry leaders to Cass

The sixth Cass MBA London Symposium was held in April on the theme of  ‘New Directions’.  Building on five very successful previous events, high-profile business and industry leaders  again stepped up to offer students a glimpse behind the scenes of businesses in the capital.

After a morning of lectures at iconic London locations including the National Gallery and the British Museum, students spent the afternoons getting an inside track on London’s range of diverse organisations including Starling Bank, London First, EY, Lloyds of London, BlackRock, Landsec, TfL and Crystal Palace Football Club.

New Full-time MBA cohort begin their journey

In September, Cass welcomed its new intake for its Full-time MBA programme in London. Thirty nationalities are represented in this year’s cohort.  With an average of seven years’ experience in the workplace and an average age of 30 years, Cass has attracted fresh talent from a range of sectors including finance, manufacturing, IT, not-for-profit, education and healthcare, all seeking to maximise their leadership potential and accelerate their careers.

Strategic thinking whisked to a frenzy at the Great Cass Bake Off 2019

In October, Cass Business School's Full-Time MBA cohort of 2019 completed their Strategy Module in a showstopping fashion, by taking part in the 2019 Great Cass Bake Off, led by Dr Paolo Aversa.
