Cass Business School hosts Insurance & Risk Management Reception
Event hosted to thank the September 11th Insurance Trust for their support of students through scholarships.
The September 11th Insurance Trust funds the education of young people working in the US or UK insurance industry.
The Trust was established on the initiative of Aon and Marsh, in memory of friends and colleagues who lost their lives following the attacks in New York on 11th September 2001. It is now supported by a variety of insurance companies including Lockton, Willis and Axis Capital. The Trust supports students from Cass Business School and the Tobin College of Business through scholarships.
It was lovely to see so many of the those we have sponsored there and catch-up with what they are doing. They all seem to be doing very well, which is gratifying.

As well as the September 11th Insurance Trust, Cass welcomed faculty and students from the Tobin College of Business, St Johns University NY. The event was a great success and provided an opportunity for students from Cass and St John’s to network.
The September 11th Insurance Trust has been supporting Cass since 2008 – initially one student then increasing to two students per year since 2012.
