Dr Amanda Goodall's research shows women do ask for pay rises - but don't get them

Dr Amanda Goodall, leadership expert at Cass Business School, spoke to the New York Times about Carrie Gracie’s appearance at the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee yesterday.  Read the article here.

Dr Goodall drew on her recent Women Do Ask research which showed that women do ask for pay rises but don’t get them.  The research found that men are 25 per cent more likely to get a pay rise when they ask.   Read about the research here.

Dr Amanda Goodall is a Senior Lecturer at Cass Business School and a regular media commentator.  Her research focuses on expert leadership and organisational performance.  She also researches gender, specifically helping to understand the gender pay gap.
