Cass welcomes new cohort of EMBA graduates in Dubai
34 Executive MBA students receive their certificates at a ceremony held in DIFC
Under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and President of Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), City, University of London held a graduation ceremony for the eighth cohort of its Executive MBA programme in Dubai and for its second series of graduates of the MSc in Aviation.
While 34 students received their Executive MBA certificates, 10 students graduated from the MSc Aviation course, which is offered to students in Dubai, London and Frankfurt. Among the course’s graduating students is the first female Emirati Air Traffic Controller and now supervisor, Nouf Alafeefi.
The ceremony at DIFC’s Conference Centre hosted over 200 people including families, business leaders and distinguished guests. Professor Sir Paul Curran, President, City, University of London, and Dr Kevin Dunseath, Regional Director, City, University of London and Head of the Dubai Centre were all in attendance, congratulating the 44 students that graduated this year.
Professor Sir Paul Curran, President of City, University of London, commented:

Dr Kevin Dunseath, Regional Director, MENA and Head of the Dubai Centre said:

The Executive MBA and the aviation course material is delivered by experienced professors flown in from City’s London campus, who teach directly in format of three to four consecutive days to accommodate the working professional.
