Record number of PhD Studentships up for grabs next year

Cass is offering 16 PhD studentships for the coming academic year, covering tuition fees and four years of maintenance grant.

The maintenance grant is £16,057 per annum for four years, starting in October 2016, as well as funding for conference attendance throughout the four year period.

Annette Yunus Pendrey, first year PhD Fellow in the Faculty of Management, benefitted from last year’s applications.

She said: “I was delighted to be selected for the studentship. Having a maintenance grant of £16,000 per year for up to four years and a waiver of my tuition fees made my ambition to study for a PhD a reality – and at Cass, a globally leading business school with specialist expertise in my field of interest.

“This has meant that I can concentrate on my studies without any financial concerns hanging over my head.”

Applications close on 29 February 2016 but high quality applicants may be fast-tracked before that date.
