Cass MBA students challenge new cohort to charity craze

Cass MBA students nominate incoming class to take on the ice bucket challenge

It's the charity craze sweeping the world, taken on by everyone from Victoria Beckham to George Bush.

And as MBA students from 2013-14 came to the end of their course, they decided it was their turn to tackle the infamous Ice Bucket Challenge.

Equipped with buckets 36 full-time MBA students met in the courtyard of Bunhill Row to drench themselves in freezing water before making a donation to the charity

But instead of nominating family or friends to take up the challenge after them, the MBA cohort nominated the new class of 2014 to follow their lead.

"I see it as a handover session from us to them," said MBA student Sinan Rabee, who helped organise the challenge.

"The main goal was around getting to know the new class and show that we are fun and approachable. We wanted to encourage them to do things as a group and make the most of their time at Cass, from the people they meet to the new skills they'll gain.'
