Cass academic ranked among HR's top thinkers

Visiting Professor Chris Roebuck voted on list

A Cass academic has been voted one of the most influential thinkers in HR for the third consecutive year.

Chris Roebuck, Visiting Professor of Transformational Leadership, was ranked 13th in a survey of the UK's top HR thinkers by HR Magazine.

The winners, announced at a ceremony held at Claridge's in Mayfair, were based on a shortlisted voted for by more than 11,000 HR professionals. The shortlist was picked by a panel of headhunters, former HR directors and academics.

Nominees were selected for the shortlisted based on criteria such as the originality and practical relevance of their ideas and whether their theories challenge the status quo in a positive way.

Visiting Professor Roebuck Said: "I am thrilled to be on the list for the third year running. I will keep up my campaign for more common sense, ethics, integrity and inspirational leadership - rather than complexity, greed, inefficiency, poor customer service and poor leadership!"
