Cass MBA student starts up Thai food venture

Full time MBA student Chusana Prasertkul has not only been busy studying, she has been busy helping her husband grow their start-up business.

GRAB Thai Street Kitchen was launched two years ago by the husband and wife team. Their vision: to bring authentic Thai street food to the emerging London street food scene.

They have been so successful they are about to launch their second store at Mansion House and another is planned near Bank at the end of the year.

Chusana says:

"GRAB was built for scalability. We knew from day one that this would be the key to our success. However, neither myself, nor my husband come from a business background. Doing the MBA at Cass has given me appropriate tools to make more informed decisions than before. Among the many useful modules covered, HR management gave me the most relevant knowledge that can be applied to GRAB almost instantaneously. It was an eye opener on how to effectively manage our growing workforce."

Cass students and staff are entitled to a special '3 for 2' offer at GRAB, so GRAB some friends and go down and check it out!
