Cass Visiting Professor wins Media Woman of the Year
Julia Hobsbawm honoured hours after delivering her inaugural lecture at Cass
Julia Hobsbawm, Honorary Visiting Professor in Networking at Cass Business School has won the First Women Awards Media Woman of the Year 2012 Award, just 24 hours after delivering her inaugural lecture at Cass.
Julia, who is Founder and Chief Executive of the acclaimed networking and ideas business, Editorial Intelligence, was made Honorary Visiting Professor in Networking at Cass Business School in December last year.
Commenting on the award she said: "I couldn't be more thrilled, it's been a great week for me personally but professionally it underlines that what we're doing at Editorial Intelligence to bring intelligent networking to the forefront, is resonating."
In a twenty five year media career, Julia has worked in book publishing, television and politics. She is the author of several books, and is co-writing the new Editorial Intelligence education books.
In her inaugural Cass lecture last week, Intelligent Networking: New Knowledge for New Times, she argued that networking is one of the key skills for the 21st century worker.
