New leadership seminars in Entrepreneurship and Women in Business
Cass Business School's events aimed at prospective MBA's
Prospective MBA students are invited to attend a new series of leadership seminars at Cass Business School.
The first seminar will be held on Thursday 26 January 2012 and will focus on entrepreneurship. The speaker will be Susan Cooper, founder and CEO of Accutrainee, a new legal venture supported by the Cass Entrepreneurship Fund. The event will provide a valuable insight into the leadership skills necessary to be an entrepreneur.
Professor Roy Batchelor, Associate Dean of the MBA programme at Cass Business School, said the sessions are designed to give candidates an essential insight into both leadership and the MBA teaching style. He said: "These seminars are a good opportunity for people thinking of studying an MBA to find out what it takes to become a successful modern-day leader.
"The seminars are free, interactive and aim to help candidates identify how they can become effective leaders themselves. As well as exploring some of the concepts behind leadership, the workshops will also give candidates a taste of the interactive teaching style of the MBA, and the high-calibre learning environment at Cass."
In March, to celebrate International Women's day, the Cass Women in Business society will be holding an event focusing on the leadership skills required for women in the modern workplace.
