Cass Consulting launched

Service applies leading research to real-world business problems

Cass is pleased to announce the launch of Cass Consulting.

The business research and consultancy service offers solutions to business problems by providing credible, tailored and independent insight and recommendations from academic consultants with relevant industry experience.

Areas of expertise include financial and professional services, business management and the third sector.

Cass has already completed successful projects for major businesses, government and other significant institutions including UBS, Microsoft, Barclays Wealth, BNY Mellon, Deutsche Bank, Swiss Reinsurance, and Ernst & Young. In many cases this has led to ongoing collaboration.

Cass also has strong links with practitioner communities, and collaborates with regulatory bodies such as the Financial Services Authority, the Bank of England and the International Monetary Fund.

Dr Christina Makris, Business Development Manager, comments: "Research at Cass is always focused on applying knowledge for a practical purpose. By taking theoretical, academic research and applying it to real-world contexts, Cass Consulting can provide innovative and insightful solutions."

She continues: "The client is involved at all times as part of a collaborative process designed to identify the problem, devise and recommend a solution and then implement that solution. We welcome all business problems and issues."

Cass Consulting is showcased on the newly redesigned Cass Knowledge - Research for business website. Cass is the only business school in the UK to have a site of this kind, providing free access to Cass's extensive research expertise. Discussing this further is Deputy Dean and Director at Cass Professor Steve Haberman in this week's Cass Talks.

The site showcases Cass's practical and market-driven research and makes it available to both practitioners and academics everywhere. At the same time the business community has access to specialist academic knowledge represented in a usable format helping them to make informed and real-world business decisions. All research papers can be searched by topic, industry or author.

The new site also features videos, podcasts and InBusiness - Cass's research focused publication. Cass Knowledge is an essential research resource highlighting academic excellence for business and the professions.
