Just give and support a new scholarship

Cass students launch Gift Club to provide MSc scholarship

MSc students at Cass Business School have launched an ambitious Class Gift Club to raise funds for a new MSc scholarship at Cass. This is the first time MSc students have proposed an initiative in support of a student bursary.

The MSc admissions team have received over 150 applicants for the Cass Class Gift scholarship, and the Club will select a recipient, based on both academic excellence and the need for financial aid.

The Club are undertaking a range of fundraising events, including bake sales, a 10km run, a stationary bike ride relay, and more. The students hope to 'change the life of an incoming student and create a legacy of student giving at Cass.'

Helen Green, Careers Information Officer at Cass, says, "I shall be running the British 10k London Run along with five Cass students, Ozkan Koyun, Leon Lin, Tim Wang, Kubra Arslan and Aseem Halbe on Sunday 10th July, to support the students in raising money for this worthwhile cause. It will be great to be able to give a prospective student the opportunity to study at our prestigious institution."

To donate, visit Just Giving. So far, the Class Gift Club has already raised over £1700 for the run, over half of their pledged target of £3000.
