The need for health and social care reform is apparent across the UK. This week saw the publication of the Dilnot Report, a research project funded by the government and led by economist Andrew Dilnot, which examined the cost of social care and provided recommendations for its future.

In this week's Cass Talks, Dr Robert Warwick, Associate Director, Centre for Better Managed Health and Social Care at Cass explains the report's recommendations. He argues the case for more public spending on health and social care despite the current economic climate.
