Wednesday, 30 September, 2009

More than 70 City firms attended a three day Careers Fair at Cass recently aimed at showcasing the skills and expertise of this year's postgraduate students.  There were representatives from some of the top banking, accounting, actuarial, real estate and shipping employers in London, all defying the recession by looking for quality recruits.
Nigel Holmes, Head of Human Resources for Europe, SG CIB said: Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking is delighted to participate in this year's Cass Recruitment Fair. To maintain our performance and success we are always looking to the future development of our organisation.  We therefore see this event as a valuable way to connect with future talent and to help prospective candidates in their career goals."
Clare Mooney, Head of Firmwide Graduate Recruitment Marketing at Credit Suisse said: Careers Fairs remain an important source for recruiting talented students into Credit Suisse.  For a diverse organisation like Credit Suisse covering many different clients and product areas across numerous countries, it is important that we identify the strongest candidates from the broadest range of talent pools.  The Cass Careers Fair is critical in helping us achieve this.
Ed Enzor, Business Development Manager at Cass, said: We are thrilled by the huge turnout of high quality City firms to this year's Careers Fair.  It just goes to prove that even when the economic environment is tight you cannot underestimate the value of recruiting top graduates and it confirms the Cass reputation as the business school for the City of London.
