Fabienne is a PhD candidate in Operations and Supply Chain Management at Cass Business School, City University of London. She is also a research and teaching assistant at City university of London and Cass. She studies structural characteristics of supply networks using the social network perspective. She completed my Master of Business Administration and her B.E. in Civil Engineering at the Lebanese American University. Before joining the PhD programme, she worked in civil engineering as a structural engineer in a development company and she had an overall responsibility for many construction projects.
Her current paper incorporates two theoretical perspectives: social network theory and dual embeddedness to study a model that explains the link between geographic dispersion of networks, their collocation and their performance. Using a large scale study based on secondary data, this paper offers an understanding of the interplay of internal and supply networks and the effect on performance.
