Strategy

Strategy research at Bayes Business School is undertaken by a high profile group of full-time faculty, visiting faculty, post-doctoral fellows, and around 20 doctoral students (full time and executive PhDs). The established professors are: Charles Baden-Fuller (Subject Leader), Laure Cabantous, Santi Furnari, Stefan Haefliger, Paula Jarzabkowski, Gianvito Lanzolla  (Head of the Faculty of Management), Elena Novelli, with outstanding strategy faculty: Senem Aydin, Paolo Aversa, Eugenia Cacciatori, Hans Frankort, Alessandro Giudici, Andres Hervas-Drane, Dzidziso (Sam) Kamuriwo, Simone Santoni, and Maima Aulia Syakhroza. The group holds extensive international links with other leading strategy faculties.

This group has published collectively in leading journals such as: Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Annals, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Management Science, Organization Studies, Strategic Organisation, Journal of Management Studies, Research Policy, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Long Range Planning, Industrial and Corporate Change, Harvard Business Review, and MIT Sloan Management Review. Some members of the group are active in the running of various leading professional associations within the Academy of Management and the Strategic Management Society.

The strategy group’s work is further underpinned by the long established research centres/hubs that look at the topics of Business Models, Digital Transformation, Strategy-As-Practice, supported by more than £4 millions of research grants won over recent years from RCUK, EPSRC, ESRC, British Academy, and the EU.
