Zhongwei Huang joined the Faculty of Finance in 2015. He has research interests in corporate disclosure, information intermediaries, financial regulations, and particularly the intersection of financial reporting and corporate finance. He teaches financial statements analysis in various postgraduate courses.
Zhongwei's research has been accepted for publication at leading accounting journals such as The Accounting Review and Review of Accounting Studies. His research findings have been cited by financial outlets such as Bloomberg, Institutional Investor, IR Magazine, and Standard & Poor's. Zhongwei won the 2020 FARS Midyear Best Paper Award from the American Accounting Association's Financial Accounting and Reporting Section for his co-authored study on the economic consequences of MiFID II.
Zhongwei received his PhD from ESSEC Business School in Paris. He is a non-practicing member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) and holds ACCA affiliate status.
