Aulia Syakhroza is an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) of Strategy at Cass Business School. She obtained her PhD from Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. Her work focuses on market categories, competition, organizational identity, and practice adoption, with the empirical context of Islamic finance. An early version of her paper, 'Holier Than Thou: Identity Buffers and Adoption of Controversial Practices in the Islamic Banking Sector', won Best PhD Paper and was nominated for Best Paper at the Strategic Management Society Annual Conference 2016 in Berlin.
Aulia currently teaches the Strategic Business Analytics course in the MSc Business Analytics program at Cass. She also supervises Executive MBA students on their Business Project dissertations.
