Overview
Jingshi (Joyce) Liu is an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) of Marketing at the Cass Business School. Before joining the the Business School, Joyce completed her Ph.D. in Marketing at the School of Business and Management, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).
Joyce’s research focuses on consumer psychology, particularly, the relationships between products and consumers’ well-being, self-control, and self-concept. She conducts experimental research and has presented her research in top international conferences, including Association for Consumer Research and Society for Consumer Psychology. She visited Columbia University as a visiting scholar in 2017.
Before joining Cass, Joyce has taught Brand Management at the undergraduate level. At Cass, she teaches Technology & Marketing at the MSc level, and Digital Marketing & Social Media at the MBA level.
