The Drake Hotel is located approximately 18 miles from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport and 12 miles from Chicago’s Midway International Airport. 

Taxis are readily available at either Chicago airport.  Estimated taxi fares will vary depending on traffic.  To and from O’Hare expect fares ranging from $60-$80; to and from Midway expect fares of $45-$70. 

Shuttle service is available through Airport Express from either airport with rates from $20-$25.  Click on the link below to see fares and make your reservations in advance.

Public transit options:

From O’Hare – CTA Blue Line Train (located at O’Hare Airport lower level)

• Follow the directional signs to the train station
• Enter the Blue Line station and purchase a transit card from the vending machine ($2.25)
• Walk down the stairs to the train platform and board in inbound Blue Line Train
• Take the train to downtown Chicago and exit at Clark & Lake (or Washington St.)
• Exit the train station and hail a taxi, estimated taxi fare $7

From Midway – CTA Orange Line Train (located at Midway Airport lower level)

• Follow the directional signs to the train station
• Enter the Orange Line train station and purchase a transit card from the vending machine ($2.25)
• Board the inbound Orange Line train and proceed to downtown Chicago.
• Exit at State and Lake, walk down to street level and hail a taxi, estimated taxi fare $7
