What is the Building Better Governance North East Programme?
Getting your governance right can be tricky for non-profit organisations. However, it is absolutely crucial for achieving your organisation’s mission.
In partnership with VONNE and the Community Foundation Tyne & Wear and Northumberland, Cass CCE is delighted to present the Building Better Governance programme for North East England. The programme is designed to share Cass CCE’s governance experts’ pracademic knowledge with sector leaders to improve governance effectiveness.
The topics covered include:
- Board involvement in strategy
- Board reports and dashboards
- Board meetings
- Board evaluation and performance
- Key relationships in the top team (Chair/CE; Board and SMT)

The most recent series of Building Better Governance London took place in May 2016. We are currently reviewing dates for 2017/18.
