How do you fulfil your mission in a practical way and break even financially? The Clink Charity provides accredited catering training to serving prisoners who provide restaurant facilities to the public who pay to eat. The restaurant has 3 income streams to help to pay for this training which reduces recidivism rates after discharge because the ex-offenders gain employment upon release. Chris Moore describes how they do all this and Mark Salway shows how many more charities can consider these social enterprise methods, which integrate raising money with service delivery.
