Research

If knowledge is power, research is the fuel

The knowledge that lies within Cass CCE derives from a powerful combination of practical experience and a formidable research portfolio. Our research is primarily problem-based and empirically oriented, and we ensure that its findings are incorporated into the curriculum.

Current CassCCE research interests include:

  1. Financial decision-making on trustee boards
  2. Charity sector mergers
  3. Strategy development in the sector
  4. Sectoral management education

The projects include funded and commissioned studies from independent policy groups and professional and public bodies. These bodies include the NCVO, the Association of Chief Executives in Voluntary Organisations, the Unity Bank Trust and the Community Fund.

Cass CCE is also active in the national and international research networks for academic studies in non-profits.
