PhD Programme

Research students form an integral part of the School, and the PhD programme is regarded as strategic within the School’s plans. Cass strives for excellence in research across its three faculties (Management, Finance, and Actuarial Science) and the School currently boasts an array of research centres and academic and practitioner-oriented research seminars. The high level of research activity at the School brings together a wide international body of staff and students, whose different experience and background creates a stimulating environment. Our internationalism is encouraged by our membership of the Alliance of Management Schools in European Capitals (AMSEC), which may provide opportunities for research collaboration with fellow schools in Paris, Brussels, Rome, Berlin, Madrid and Oslo.

Our PhD programme is designed to help you complete research of an excellent standard. We offer a combination of rigorous PhD-level training with supervision by leading researchers in the field. We have more than 100 Alumni PhDs who have entered both the top business schools and leading commercial organisations worldwide. A full programme of Alumni events ensures that our Alumni remain in close contact with the School.
