Cass MBA ranked 37th in the world by the Financial Times

It represents an impressive jump of 8 places in the global rankings since last year

Cass Business School has increased its position by eight places in the Financial Times Full Time Global MBA 2016 ranking.

The FT MBA programme is now ranked 37th in the world, 13th in Europe and 6th in the UK.

It represents an impressive jump of 8 places in the global rankings since last year and matches the increase achieved by the Cass EMBA programme in the Financial Times rankings released in October.

The significant increase is a reflection of the high salaries Cass students earn after graduation, the level of international mobility the School supports and the FT MBA programme’s place in the top 20 for career progress globally.

This success is also due to an increased focus on providing our students with new and challenging international course experiences including the Leadership Expedition to Iceland and international elective weeks in the world’s most exciting and dynamic business regions, such as Silicon Valley, the Middle East and for 2016, Cuba.

Dr Sionade Robinson, Associate Dean of the MBA Programme said:

“Our MBA students choose Cass because we create powerful educational and development experiences to help them accelerate and explore enriching future careers.  We seek to admit interesting, dynamic and high potential individuals as these are the kind of people we all enjoy working with. It is therefore very pleasing to see their success and progress reflected in this year’s Financial Times Global rankings.”

The Financial Times ranking also shows that Cass’ FTMBA programme is 2nd in London for the salary graduates achieve 3 years after completing the course and for career progression.

Professor Marianne Lewis, Dean of Cass Business School, commented:

“Cass is a leading global business school, driven by world-class research and industry impact. We enable the extraordinary – thriving and sustainable careers, organisations and societies. This latest ranking is a reflection of the dedication of the staff who deliver the course, the brilliant students the School attracts and our inspiring alumni community.”

The ranking is based on information collected from business schools, employment data from the most recent MBA graduates and feedback from alumni who graduated 3 years ago, in this case the class of 2011/12.
