Professor Andrew Clare chairs panel discussion on graduate opportunities in the finance sector Saturday, 21 November, 2009 The economic crisis has prompted a surge in applications to courses at all business schools, but what are the job opportunities for students who are on the cusp of starting their careers? To answer this question, Andrew Clare, Professor of Asset Management at Cass Business School, chaired a panel discussion hosted by Bloomberg at their headquarters in the City. Zoe Yuan, currently studying on the MSc Investment Management programme, attended the event and commented: “I applied to the Bloomberg Analytic and Financial Sales programme earlier on this year so I am naturally interested in meeting potential future colleagues and getting a better understanding of what it’s like to work in the City, this was a perfect opportunity. The panel discussion made the event attractive and certainly encouraged me to attend. “Professor Andrew Clare and the panelists gave great insight into the current economic situation and I also learnt more about the functionality of Bloomberg’s terminals through their presentation. The event definitely exceeded my expectations.” |
