| Out of hours Having enjoyed the area round Smithfield market so much (reviewed in the last issue of the newsletter) we decided that more of the same was in order. This time we took the right hand exit from Farringdon tube (a ten minute walk from Cass if you prefer, but after a hard day in front of the computer I felt like laziness was well deserved). We went to discover the evening magic that is Exmouth market. This area, as you might expect, used to be home to a huge daily food market. This has disappeared and been replaced by a number of independent boutique shops; selling everything from designer shoes and bespoke furniture to contemporary art. |
