Stelios Scholarships
Cass MSc alumnus Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the chairman of easyGroup, generously funds a scholarship scheme for students to study at Cass. Each award is in the amount of £10,500
Stelios, most famous for starting up easyjet at the age of 28, graduated with a Cass MSc in Shipping Trade & Finance in 1988.
Stelios will fund 10 scholarships per year for 10 years between 2006 and 2016 with winners being known as ‘Stelios Scholars’. The scholarships are open to all EU citizens. Two scholarships have been earmarked for students wishing to follow in Stelios’s footsteps by studying an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance. One is earmarked for those wanting to study an MSc in Energy, Trade and Finance or Supply Chain, Trade and Finance, and one will be for those wanting to study on Cass’s full time MBA programme. The remaining scholarships are open to those wanting to study a finance-related MSc degree at Cass.
