The Deputy Registrar for Academic Standards has responsibility for:

• The assurance and enhancement of academic standards through the management of assessment
• Student appeals
• Academic misconduct panels
• Maintenance of student records.

• The assurance and enhancement of academic quality through the management of programme approval
• Monitoring and review
• Accreditation
• Development and ongoing monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The Quality Officer is responsible for:

• The Board of Studies and its committees
• Managing the interface with external examiners
• Managing the appointment of Honorary academic staff
