Orbis Bank Focus

Worldwide coverage of banks. It provides detailed information covering at least 5 years’ history for listed banks and at least 3 years’ for unlisted, with ‘as reported’ financial items available both in English and local languages using local GAAP and IFRS formats whenever available. Orbis Bank Focus includes original filings, corporate structures, the facility to represent data graphically.


S&P Global Market Intelligence

S&P Global Market Intelligence provides detailed and standardised financial data on financial institutions in the US, Europe and MEA. Formerly called SNL Financial. Coverage is global and includes access to:

  • Mortgage brokers and services
  • Asset management

Bloomberg Terminal

Bloomberg is a global financial markets database providing news, analytics, real time pricing for over 5 million securities world-wide plus extensive historical pricing and stock charts.

Bloomberg is available on 10 terminals in Northampton Square Library on Level 5 in the Financial Resources Suite. There are 10 terminals in the Bloomberg Finance Lab at Bayes Business School.

BoardEx contains information about public company board members, directors and senior management for companies world-wide.


Morningstar

Morningstar Direct is an investment analysis platform. It provides access to 350,000 investments in Indexes, Equities, Hedge Funds, Segregated Accounts, Open-End Funds, Closed-End Funds, Insurance/Pension/Life and Exchange Traded Funds. For every investment, there is information on performance, operations, portfolio holdings, risk measure and proprietary tools.
