Student life

It's hard to imagine a better location for a business school.
As well as being centrally located to arguably the world's leading financial centre, you also have the infinite variety of London's cultural, entertainment and sporting possibilities.
The main university campus is located in Islington, close to the centre of London. Here you will find a vast selection of restaurants, bars, music venues to name a few.
Study at Cass and you are ideally placed to exploit and enjoy everything that London has to offer.
A vibrant and supportive community
Cass offers high levels of pastoral and academic support for students in London. And, of course, there are countless clubs and societies, not to mention the student union. Within no time, you'll be having the time of your life.
Students' Union
Cass students automatically become members of City University's Students' Union. The Union building hosts regular concerts, club nights featuring top DJ's, films and black-tie balls.
Student societies
City University offers more than 50 different clubs and societies, covering a huge range of interests.
Cass itself has two societies:
Cass Business Group
For all business students, but with a particular focus on financial markets and investment banking. It runs a seminar with speakers from leading City companies as well Cass alumnus, Stelios Haji-Ioannou, founder of easyGroup.
Cass Actuarial Society
Formal events run by Cass Actuarial Society include external lectures on current issues in the actuarial sphere in conjunction with eminent actuaries and the Worshipful Company of Actuaries. The society also arranges networking and career opportunities, talks by recruitment consultants, and social events.
Sports activities
Students have full access to the range of recreational facilities provided by the University. The University's playing fields in North London cater for field sports, while the nearby Saddler's Sports Centre provides a comprehensive programme of indoor sports and recreation, including a sauna suite.
