Each year, Cass Business School, City University London and generous donors create opportunities for students to fully fund or part fund their studies.

In addition, you may also be eligible for other bursaries and scholarships managed by the University.

The Lord Mayor of London Scholarships for Academic Excellence

At City University London we believe that exceptional academic performance should be recognised and rewarded. City is offering a Scholarship of £2,000 per year to UK and EU Cass Business School undergraduate students achieving exceptional grades at 'A' level, International Baccalaureate or other equivalent qualifications starting an undergraduate course at City in September 2016.

Award: £2,000

Duration: three years (subject to academic performance)

Eligibility:

  • Students from the United Kingdom (UK) and European Union (EU)
  • First year undergraduate in 2015
  • AAA or above at 'A' level (or equivalent*)
  • A*AA for BSc Actuarial Science

Deadline: All students will have to register in order to receive the scholarship. All students will be invited to register during the relevant period of the application process.

Cass Business School International Scholarship

Cass Business School is offering scholarships of £2000 each year towards tuition fees to overseas students starting an undergraduate course at Cass in September 2016. The scholarship is for students who achieve exceptional grades in all international qualifications (students with A Levels or International Baccalaureate can apply for the Vice Chancellor's Scholarship. Cass EU students have the opportunity to apply for the Global Leaders Scholarship. 

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the Cass International Scholarship, you must:

  • Be an overseas students (i.e. from outside the UK/EU and paying the overseas fee)
  • Be applying for your first year of undergraduate study in 2016
  • Accept an offer from City as your Firm choice

Value and duration:

The scholarship is worth £2000 each year towards tuition fees and is paid for a maximum of three years, subject to satisfactory academic performance each year.

Deadline:
 
Offer Holders will be sent an email invitation to register in March 2016, and you will need to apply in order to receive the scholarship. Students will need  to complete the application form by 31 July 2016 and will be notified of the results of their application by 31 October 2016.

Payment:

Scholarship funds for the first year will be applied to the January 2017 tuition fee instalments and, subject to satisfactory performance, to the January instalment in subsequent years.

Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship

City is offering scholarships of £2000 each year towards tuition fees to international students starting an undergraduate course at City in September 2016.

City is offering a minimum of 50 scholarships of £1000 to outstanding International and EU students starting an undergraduate course at City in September 2016 who are taking further education qualifications in their home education systems.

The Sandhu Charitable Foundation Scholarship

The Sandhu Charitable Foundation Scholarship will sponsor two students at Cass Business School for the whole duration of their studies.

The Sandhu Charitable Foundation Scholarship provide bright students coming from financial hardship applying to Cass Business School a great opportunity to be educated at a world-class University without the burden of paying the full tuition fee amount.

Value and Duration
The Sandhu Charitable Foundation Scholarship aim to provide two partial scholarships to support first year undergraduate students studying at Cass commencing their studies in September 2016.

Each beneficiary will receive £5,000 per annum to cover partial cost of tuition fees, for the entirety of their three years of study starting from 2016 to 2019.

Eligibility
To be eligible for The Sandhu Charitable Foundation Scholarship:

  1. You must be holding an offer with Cass Business School and have chosen us as your firm choice. Please note that the award is subject to you having met all the entry requirements for your course.
  2. You are in need of financial assistance as determined by the Cass Development Office. This will be assessed by your family income and a written statement, explaining how receiving the scholarship will impact your personal circumstances and help you achieve your goals.
  3. The Scholarship will not be limited by any geographical criteria, although preference will be given to a West London resident.

Selection process:
Cass Business School will submit a shortlist of 10-12 candidates based on the above criterias, along with a synopsis of their backgrounds, academic results, financial needs and their application statement will be forwarded to the donors who will make the final decision.

Please note that this scholarship is only for those students who meet the eligibility of the scholarship.

Deadline:
The deadline to apply was on the 24th June 2016.

The two final students who are successful with their application will be contacted via email by July 2016.

Future Finance Loans

Future Finance offers students loans of between £2,500 and £40,000 to help cover tuition fees and living expenses. All students and courses are considered. All loans are subject to credit checks and approval for further details please visit city.financemyfuture.co.uk.
