Applying to Cass

1. Choosing your course

Cass Business School is a pioneering establishment with close links to the City of London and an outstanding employment record. Consequently, we set rigorous entry requirements and demand for our courses is very high. If you're ready to maximise the advantages of this remarkable learning environment, we look forward to receiving your application.

2. Making your application

Cass receives applications via UCAS Apply:

Before you apply make sure you read all the information in the following pages and check the entry requirements on the relevant course pages.

UK students should apply from September 2011 until 15 January 2012.

International students should apply from September 2011 to 30 June 2012. (If there are still places available, we recommend applying before the January deadline)

All applications received after these dates will be considered, depending on the availability of places.

Full dates and deadlines

Cass Business School is part of City University London, so our UCAS code is C60.

3. After you have made your application

Your UCAS form is received electronically by the Cass Admissions Team

Cass Business School has its own dedicated Admissions Team who carefully review all applications. They will assess your academic record, your personal statement and your other achievements. Cass receives 5000 applications for 500 places every year, so the process by which we make offers to applicants is very careful.

Will I need an interview?

We do not usually feel the need to interview candidates. We have found that academic achievements and personal statements give us an indication whether you will progress well at Cass.

However, we do feel it is valuable you visit Cass in order to ensure you are making the right decision about your education. So, we encourage you to attend one of our post-application events held in January, February, March and April.

Receiving your offer

As soon as we have decided to make you an offer, we will update this on UCAS. You will then be notified by UCAS Track of our decision.

We will send you an email confirming the conditions of your offer.

Then we'll send you a letter and our Offer Pack, which contains details and information you will need for the months ahead.

In this, we'll also invite you to one of our post-application events held in January, February, March and April.

Through January - April, we'll keep you up to date with things at Cass, and anything we need you to do with our regular newsletters.

Replying to your offers (choosing firm and insurance choices)

You must reply to your offers by the deadline by choosing which will be your firm and insurance choices - and which ones you will decline. You can do this via UCAS Track.

What if I have a query?

If you have any queries about your application, you should check UCAS Track.  If you would still like to speak to someone, please contact the Admissions Team:

4. Things you should know

If you are studying General Studies, Critical Thinking or a native language A-level then these subjects will not be included in any offer condition.

We do not accept credit transfers into our Undergraduate degree programmes at Cass Business School. We have one intake of students in September each year and are currently considering applications for September 2012 (and deferred entry for 2013).
