Class of 2014/15
This year we will be following three students through their year of MSc studies. Genevieve from the UK, Jiin from Malaysia and Alexander from Germany are pursuing their studies in Marketing, Actuarial Science and Global Supply Chain with us at the Business School. Follow their progress in this series of video diaries to get a student's eye view of their experience.
Episode three
In this third episode we catch up with the three students as they study their electives and work on dissertations. Finally, they get to let their hair down at the end of year party.
Episode two
In this second episode the students have begun the second term of their Masters degrees. Genevieve is presenting her project for launching a children's opera at Google's Campus London in front of an audience of marketing and branding professionals. Jiin is hard at work in one of her demanding Actuarial Science classes working with stochastic models. Alexander is hearing from a Business School alumnus who now works for as a Category Manager for Virgin Atlantic in his Procurement class.
Episode one
In this first episode the three students are already well into term one of their studies. Genevieve has an Innovation class with Course Director Dr Chris Storey as well as a demanding Quants class. Jiin is in a class with Dr Douglas Wright looking at valuing annuities, as well as off on a visit to the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries for a careers networking event. Alexander has a class with Co-Course Director, and inspirational lecturer, Dr Son Byung-Gak and then meets up with his colleagues in the Supply Chain Society.
